Lenore Denbin
Owner & NCPT-Certified Pilates Teacher
My desire to share my love of Pilates was born from its life-changing, transformative possibilities.
I began my Pilates journey in 1995 after the birth of my first son while searching to add another dimension to a traditional exercise routine and became an immediate devotee. I fell in love with Pilates in large part because of its focus on whole body conditioning that was different from anything I had tried before. Plus, I was always motivated and never bored, and continue to feel that way today. This led to the completion of a 750+ hour comprehensive certification program in 2006. Through the gift of teaching, my passion persists as I seek to move my clients to experience those feelings of joy and accomplishment — and exceed any obstacles.
As both a seasoned teacher and forever student of Pilates, I strongly believe in the importance of ongoing learning and practical experience so I can offer my clients valuable expertise. During my training, I unearthed a curiosity and fascination of anatomy and kinesiology — and continually feed that by pursuing greater knowledge of how Pilates can help the human body function at its best. I take great pleasure in expanding my scope of teaching by regular study with my primary teachers: Cara Reeser, Rebekah Rotstein, Madeline Black and Karen Carlson. They willingly share their gifts of vast knowledge and experience.
Through my extensive education and work, my client base has evolved to mainly encompass young adults and the over-40 population as well as serving as a teacher of teachers.
